QUOTES
John's thoughts on assigning blame and trying to change his wife: "I can't change her. When am I ever going to learn that? I've been married almost 26 years and I still haven't learned that I can't change my wife. I can only change myself and pray for her. And that's what I need to do more consistently."

Chris on the main reason of his being intimacy anorexic: "I think of intimacy anorexia as like, if I love my wife and I'm the opposite of intimacy anorexic, what am I afraid is gonna happen? I'm afraid actually of exposure to true love. I'm afraid of truly baring my soul and trusting and loving for fear of getting hurt."
